1. Work Experience

Heyo,

The last week i spent working...
You heard right, i spent my last week in a Play School here in Moanaghan, the reason why i did that is that we had to do a work experience for school. 
So I've chosen to work in a Play School. That was actually really easy work. Everything I had to do was to play with the children and take care of them.
I started at 9 in the morning and finished at 1 in the afternoon, so a really short day for me...

Play School here is kind of the same like Kindergraden in Germany. But they are not doing all the same things. In German Kindergardens you can nearly do whatever you want to, only a few expectations, here they have to do build puzzles and do P.E. I mean they can also play with toys and Play-doh and stuff but yeah, they also have to do their work.
Play Schools here are really not that big as in Germnay, here are only up to 20 children in one Play School compared to germany that is nothing. 
And they are leaving Play School here with 4 Years...

Ginat's Cuaseway

Hey,

I have viseted the Giant's Causeway yesterday and it was fantastic ♥ even if had to stand up at half seven.
Our bus left at nine o'clock and it took us three hours to get there, but it was totally worth it!

For all of you who don't know what the Giant's Causeway is: The Ginats Causeway is one of the World Heritage Sites and was built by an ancient volcanic reaktion about 50 to 60 million years ago. It is located in Northern Ireland Co. Antrim. You can find a similar formation on the opposite coast in Scotland. It is pretty much made of hexagonal basalt columns. The biggest ones are about 12 meters high.

Finn McCools shoe

 There is also a legend about how it was built: 60 million years ago, a giant called Finn McCool lived there and in Scotland lived a Giant called Benandonner. Benandonner challenged Finn to fight against him. Finn built the Ginats Causeway over to Scotland so that the two Ginat's could meet. But when Finn saw how big Benandonner was 
he flew and hide in his house. But Benandonner found his house.

According to the ledgend the chemnies
on the rock, should belong to Finns house...

Finn was clever he hides as a baby and when the other Ginat saw him he thought this fight wasn't worth it cause he would loose anyway because he thought Finn was actually the Father from the baby, so he flew back to Scotland and destroyed the Causeway behind him, that Finn could not follow.


To see the Causeway was awsome. We had it in Geography and the picturs looked really impressive, but when you're actually there they look even more im pressive. 
The day was super and if you have the chance to go there do it...

Foodfestival and Picnic..

Hey Guys

In the last to weeks I haven't done a lot, only on the Weekends...

On the first Weekend we had a Foodfestival here in Monaghan, you could get a lot of free, nice food ♥ so i went there on Saturday and Sunday, the first day with Friends of me and the second day with my hostsister. It was nice...
Last weekend we went shopping. We went to Dundalk, because there is Penneys ☻and my hostsister wanted to go there (Don't worry we didn't went to the supermarket Penny, here they call Primark, Penneys. The first time I've heard it i thought you can't go shopping in Penneys but then my sister explained it to me...) 
I've never bought so less in Penneys, only four things!!!

On Sunday we've made a picnic with all the other Exchange students in Roosemore Park. We meet at one o'clock and walked nearly an hour to a lovley lake. There we have done our Picnic, and we had a lot of food...

We definitely had a lot of fun ♥

The next thing i will write about is probably the Giant's Causeway...

1 Month...

Hello,

So nun ist ein Monat vergangen, ein ganzer Monat! Es fühlt sich um ehrlich zu sein an wie 10 Tage... 
Es gefällt mir hier von Tag zu Tag besser. 
Im Moment vermisse ich Deutschland noch nicht wirklich, was wahrscheinlich daran liegt das ich bis jetzt, noch fast jeden Tag was neues erlebe.

Ich habe hier eigentlich relativ schnell neue Freunde gefunden, Irische sowie auch andere Austauschschüler mit denen ich Dinge unternehme.
In der Schule versteh ich mittlerweile alles (natürlich nicht alle Wörter aber aus dem Zusammenhang klappt das immer ☻)

Ich bin richtig froh, das ich die Chance habe all das hier zu erleben ♥ Danke Mama, Danke Papa ♥ und das ich hier hin gegangen bin und nicht wie ursprünglich gedacht in die USA, denn dann würde ich wahrscheinlich jetzt immer noch in Deutschland rum sitzen...

Mein erster Monat hier war super und ich hoffe die restlichen 8 werden das auch sein ♥ (und ich hoffe sie werden nicht so schnell vorbei sein wie der erste ☻)

The National Ploughing Championchips

Hello Guys,

Ich bin grade mal drei Wochen hier in der Schule und habe schon drei Ausflüge gemacht... Der erste war nach Tanagh das habe ich euch ja schon erzählt, der zweite war diese Woche Dienstag, da sind wir zu einer Comedy Show in Catleblayney gegangen, die war super... Am Anfang hab ich gedacht ich werde gar nichts verstehen, aber eigentlich habe ich alles verstanden ☻...

Der dritte Ausflug war dann gestern, zu den National Plaughing Championchips, jetzt fragt ihr euch wahrscheinlich was das ist...
Ich werd's erklären. Das ist ein riesen Gelände mit Ständen von über 600 Firmen, die meisten davon Landwirtschaftlich orientiert, man konnte sich unter anderem auch echte Kühe, Schweine, Schafe und Pferde angucken... es gab überall free food und ganz ganz viele Werbegeschenke ☻♥
Fast alle Leute sind da in Gummistiefeln und Regenjacke rumgelaufen (Ich auch☻), da man nie wusste wann es anfängt zu regnen und da das ganze auf Äckern war brauchte man die Gummistiefel auch...
Um dahin zu kommen musste ich um halb fünf aufstehen, da ich um 6 an der Schule sein musste, wir sind dann drei Stunden dahin gefahren... waren ca. um halb zehn da. Angekommen, haben wir Dreiergruppen gebildet in denen wir dann da rumlaufen durften, (nach fünf Minuten waren die Gruppen komplett gemischt).
Ich sag euch eins, einen ganzen Tag, von morgens um sechs bis abends um sechs in Gummistiefeln rumzulaufen bzw. generell zu laufen ist kein Spaß trotzdem hat es mega Spaß gemacht, auch wenn uns allen die Füße weh taten...
Zurück gefahren sind wir Abends um sieben, das heißt wir waren um halb zehn wieder an der Schule und da ich ca. ne halbe Stunde von der Schule entfernt wohne, war ich um 10 erst wieder zuhause... und somit heute in der Schule zu nichts zu gebrauchen ☻
